- Protects from the effects of moisture – minimises warping, cupping and splitting
The differences between Cutek CD50 and Cutek Extreme are:
- Extreme is more suitable for biologically challenging environments like the tropics, perpetually damp areas etc.
- When Extreme is used as a clear oil it silvers off slightly slower
- Extreme is more suitable for dense timbers as it penetrates deeper and easier than CD50
- Extreme is better for longer colour retention
- Extreme has more anti-fungal properties in its formula and therefore it is better at preventing mould and fungous from growing on timbers
